Hi all
At home I have a small network, basically 2 PC's
connected using Crossover Ethernet.
I have just bought a small hub, and now I want to
change the cabling back to 'straight-through' type.
Currently using the crossover cable, only 4 wires are
required, my question is will reconnecting the 4
wires to each other(i.e. GREEN<->GREEN, etc) allow
the network to operate with the hub, or do I need to
connect all 8 wires in the Ethernet cable together
to function correctly?
Thanks
Shane
