Hi...I have a question about an icon on my taskbar that came with my new pc!
It's called "Processor serial number". It has settings and I look up what it
was and basically it's to do with privacy issues on my pc, I think!
This is what it says about it in the help file! ......
"Processor serial number status: Choose whether to enable or disable the
processor serial number. If the processor serial number is disabled,
applications will be blocked from reading the processor serial number."
This is a new one on me, but I seem to remember reading something about it.
Do I disable it or enable it, and when should I do this. Right now I have it
disabled!
Should I remove it from my start up menu? I just don't want to do anything
that may...disrupt the way my pc runs.
TIA Jackie
