Yeah, or find a linux equivalent.  That's usually your best option.

Huh? :)  You've been able to see fat32 from Linux just as long as you have been
from windows. :)  I started using Linux at version 2.0.35, and it had support
then.  That was only about 6 months after win98 came out..

Linux and ntfs- there are problems there.  I think support is read-only for now.
