would it be fair to say ASPI layer is kinda like an EZbios "layer"?
kinda? 
except that ezbios deals only with a 1024 sector limit, but it makes a 
"translation" so a device can be "seen" by the system?
While I'm on the subject, is what Ezbios does also called "segmented 
addressing" (or is that something else)
like what "cascaded" irq 8 - 16 is on irq 2? So the XT systems could still 
work on an AT system.
One sector is set aside so it can "translate" into the other address?
I always thought segmented addressing is kinda like a post office box that 
when all mail goes there it then goes to another post office box, thus 
doubling the useable space of the box...kinda
