I've heard that putting them in the microwave helps. Just joking!!! hehe
I know that you can buy REALLY fine sand paper and sand out the
scratches but for cleaning I'd just use a really soft cloth and alcohol.
It's just plastic. I'd read some more of these posts before you go ahead
with my theory.
