Hmm. Well, it should definitely be in one of the packages that came with your
distro, so I guess the first place to look would be in there. I can send you
the slackware package that contains it, but that may or may not help you: it
probably comes with a bunch of other development utilities, it'd be bad to go
replacing a bunc of things on your system (slackware's libc5 based, debian's
libc6), and slackware's ldd may not even run on debian.
