didnt compile a lot of drivers... but i'll look into it

no i insist :-)
you can print out the ioports, and it only mentions the networkcards in that
region (together with some other things). besides, the nic detect utility of3com
mentioned the same number whereas it mentioned 300 for another card that was
also in the machine (for testing purposes... couldnt get it to work neither, but
i suspect that card to be screwed....
