I don't think that'd solve your problem... If you've got the domain name
before the company is formed, then their trademark (if/when they get
one) doesn't really affect you (although the big expensive lawyers can
make trouble...).  That's why the etoy vs etoys thing was settled with
etoy being able to keep their domain up.  Now, if a trademark already
exists for/about/similar to your domain, you might already have
problems, and you should probably seek legal advice.  

Actually, you should seek legal advice either way, as far as I'm
concerned..
