Is the windows bus mastering hdd controller only for pci mounted hdd?
When I added 2 devices to my isa/ide card (on a 486 with one ide slot)
windows didnt like the standard bus mastering driver anymore, switched to the
standard ide contoller and it worked, after I reinstalled the driver in
device mngr
hmm, it might not make any difference...via says to enable usb in bios even
if you dont have usb devices, its supposed to also enable other stuff ( vxd's
or something)
thanks,
