Might wanna mention that you're running Linux when you post questions
about it. :)
Here's one quick answer: Kernel 2.4 will be out next month, and will have
much better support for PnP, and getting your card to work should be much
easier.
Next, read the Awe-Howto. It should lead you step by step through the
process. I tried it on an AWE 32 the other day though, and couldn't get
it to work, so heh, good luck.. :(
Third, Creative has released compiled drivers for many cards, so check out
their site. You don't get the source code, and I think they're only
compiled for Redhat, so you may or may not get lucky there...
