That, my friend, is a kernel panic -- a crash in other words.  Congrats, you're
a one in a million. =)

I'd like to say that this points to a hardware problem, but I dunno.  "Making
ext2 filesystem on /dev/hda1" means that it's formatting the first partition on
your primary master disk.  Let's try getting around the crash. :)  Before you
start the installer, boot with your disks, and run 'mkfs -t ext2 /dev/hda1'
That'll format the disk for you, so you can start the installer and not go
through the formatting process, but skip right to the installation.  I'm not
very familiar with Redhat (tried to install 6.0, which failed, so I went back
to my trusty slackware :)), so it's possible that you may not be able to skip
the formatting during the install, and it's possible that you may not be able
to avoid the installer program to do the manual format I described.  If the
latter is the case, you may have to make and boot with a rescue disk to get
access to the command prompt.

Here's another thing: that 'lru block list corrupted' thing is bothering me.
Have you fdisk'd this drive yet?  And are you sure the drive is ok?
