Oh, it was a crash.. Well, those are usually pretty difficult to nail
down... Such is Windows.  I've installed PWS before, using the one that
they used to allow you to simply download from the same page you get IE.
They had for awhile not allowed that, but have they re-enabled it?
Something about installing things from an NT plus pack on 95 doesn't seem
right too, and maybe that's why it's crashing- is this even supposed to
run on 9x?

Shouldn't be a problem, although I've had mixed luck with Partition magic.
I'd go into fdisk and write down very precisely your partition table.  If
partition magic screws it up, you can boot with your linux floppies and
re-write the partition table.  I've rescued a couple of my own drives that
way-- nice that Linux can fix it. :)  ... Such is Linux. =)

Btw, since you run linux, have you tried using Apache rather than a
Windows (*cough*) server (*cough*)?
