If you know the mfr. of the DVD-ROM drive you can contact them for drivers
to install on the other computer. Do you have a decoder card that you are
transferring as well, or does it depend upon software decoding? If it is
software decoding, you will need to purchase a program to do that. If you
have a decoder card, you can get drivers from the mfr. for that as well.
You can also get directX drivers from the MS site. (I am assuming you have
Windows on the machine you are transferring the drive to.)
It sounds like the software that runs the DVD was made for the eMachine, so
you will have to start "from scratch" with the software for the other
computer.
