Hey...I just ran into this problem while installing Windows 98. I already
had Windows 95 on my computer, and decided to format my hard-drive, being
there nothing on my hard-drive worth of importance. So, I formatted the
hard-drive.
After the formatting was done, I stuck in the Windows 98 CD-ROM into my
CD-ROM drive, and turned on the computer. I came to the DOS prompt, and
typed in my old CD-ROM drive, E:\, and it said drive not installed, or
something like that.
So, I still have this problem.....How do install stuff onto my hard-drive if
I can't even use my CD-ROM drive? Thanks, Zander
