[COMP] Re: Broadband (Was: Re: Linux HOWTOs)

You can't actually get any variation of DSL (ADSL, DSL, etc) yet. The place
where I will probably get cable from has their own high-speed network and
doesn't go through the telco.

Cable is flat rate (With Optus@Home). For other guaranteed bandwith
connections, you are looking at much higher rates, eg:

56k dedicated:
$20 a month with 100mb, or $365 flat.

64k ISDN Dedicated:
$990 a month, flat rate - no per mb to my knowledge. But, casual is $10 an
hour.
