[COMP] Beginner's Guide to Linux Apps

Well, the Linux users in the house know just how many apps there are for
Linux compared to Windows and MacOS (a lot), but it's still a common
misconception that if you switch to Linux, you won't have any apps.
Here's a pretty decent article covering some of the biggies that I always
hear complaints about:

I'd like to see you get a program like the GIMP for Windows for free
(other than the win32 port of the gimp, of course). =)
