Totally agree with ya, and honestly I think it is up to the artist themselves
to make us want to buy their cds. they need to put some extra effort in order
to get us off of the computers and back into the market. It really is all
about good marketing and being creative anyways.

i agree that file-sharing is taking money away from the music industry, but i

i think it's okay to file-share as long as you've set your file-sharing program
so that other people cannot copy files from you but you can copy from other
people, then you are not a distributor of the media.

Peer to peer file sharing is my social issue. Peer to peer file sharing is when
people open up their hard drives to the world and allow people to download
music that is saved there. At the same time you can download music or movies
for yourself. It all started with the famous napster in 2000. The problem with
this you are not paying for the CD, so the record companies are getting upset.
I feel that the music industry is a business. The people there are making a
living making music. The people that are ?Steeling the music? by using these
websites are taking AWAY MONEY FROM THE PERFORMERS. But if you really think
about it, no one is losing their shirts in the record business. If it wasn?t
for these websites I would have a large collection of music on my iPOD. I know
I can?t afford the CD?s, so really no one has lost my money, they wouldn?t have
gotten it any way.

Here are a few of the sites
