experience.  The posting I have found is for those that have a Bachelor's 
degree so, this job isn' t one that most of us would be ready for.  Read the

WEB MANAGER

Serves as the liaison between Marketing, Business Unit Content Managers and 
Information Technology Department (IT) to manage the timely, accurate and 
on-brand update of all web-related content and materials (off and online). 
Develops 
copy and edits web/online materials.

Oversees all web-related Marketing initiatives.

Works with Marketing, Business Channel Content Owners and IT and manages the 
timely, accurate, on brand update of all web-related content and materials 
(off and online). Works closely with the team to ensure accuracy and that all 
goals are met.

Responsible for developing, maintaining and enforcing internal Aurora process 
for content management across the company â?? Internet and Intranet 
(AuroraLive). Ensures proper QC process has been followed and all content has 
been 
appropriately reviewed and approved prior to posting. Works within the Lehman 
content management process.

Provides guidance and leadership, on a strategic and tactical level, for all 
web communications. 

Writes web content and offline web-related documents (scopes, specifications, 
MS project timelines, requirements).

Candidates should be prepared to show one or more work samples that relate to 
the responsibilities of this position.

Work requires individual to work with remote internal contacts on a regular 
basis. Extreme organizational skills and professionalism are required.


Skills/Strengths:

Strong Web and Marketing copy writing and editorial capabilities

Familiar with web development terminology and associated actions â?? scope, 
project plan, specifications, QC, etc.

Multi-tasking capabilities â?? projects consistently delivered on time and with 
accuracy

Excellent project management skills â?? highly organized and results oriented

Technical background a plus (HTML, DHTML)

Dependable, delivering quality work in a timely manner, with attention to 
detail

Able to maintain a high level understanding of corporate identity templates 
across print and web

Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with diverse groups.

Interactive/Ad Agency experience a plus.

Able to take initiative and lead projects

Able to manage budgets

Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the 
Marketing and Internet fields

Team player who supports the Marketing team and its efforts as appropriate

Excellent written and verbal communication skills


General:

Bachelorâ??s Degree in Marketing/Communications/Advertising 

Prior experience in web content management 

Proficient in the following programs: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power 
Point, MS Project). Visio a plus
