Job description: OIT. Works on the IT web development team that is respo=
nsible for the design, development, maintenance and administration of the U=
niversity intra/internet projects. Develops project plans including design =
specifications; collaborates with university departments concerning web sit=
e requirements; evaluates new technologies and web development tools; assis=
ts in establishing and maintaining standards for university wide web develo=
pment. Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or rel=
ated field; 3 years of relevant experience; demonstrated programming and de=
bugging skills; demonstrated database design skills; proficiency in Java, .=
NET framework, MS Access/VBA, FrontPage, SQL, VisualBASIC, HTML & JavaScrip=
t; current knowledge of industry software and hardware technologies; demons=
trated ability to provide individual and group training; demonstrated abili=
ty to maintain positive interpersonal relationships; demonstrated ability t=
o communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. =20

Job requirements: This job requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years of e=

Additional requirements: Desired: Specialized training in web site desig=
n as well as middle tier applications; proven experience with the operating=
systems used on campus, (e.g. Windows, Linux &, Mac OS); familiarity with =
ASP (VBScript), COM object development, IIS Administration, DB2, XML, Apach=
e, MS SQL Server; familiarity with software design methodologies; demonstra=
ted project-planning skills; familiarity with push technologies. Screening =
