What you learned about telnet?s uses (provide a URL to document where you
learned this)
Telnet can be used for many things, including email retrieval, website
maintenance, information retrieval, and you can also run programs through it.
It is similar in feel to FTP, but there is a lot more you can do with it. A
good intro is given here: http://www.kidstreehouse.com/public/introtelnet.htm
Where did you practice telnet (again, support this with a URL)
I think the funnest way to practice telnet is by playing telnet-based games! An
amazing array of telnet games can be found here:

Tell us what happened, and mention at least one thing that you learned about
telnet as you tried using it.
Playing telnet games is a blast! You can substitute
fancy graphics for imagination, which is a lot more fun, I think. One thing I
was surprised by actually was some of the graphics people managed to make in a
telnet environment...I was more impressed with amazing telnet graphics than I
ever was at modern day CG!
Best regards,
Joshua D.
