I used http://oregonstate.edu/cws/tutorials/command-shell/ to learn about the telnet protocol. I have used unix a little and have a little knowledge on the command line. I believe that this does have some applications some where, but don't know why. I could not use it with out a list of command lines sitting next to me. I tried going to the Library of Congress Telnet and was unable to access it. I then tried to get on telnet://140.147.254.3 and finally was able to. I looked around and was able to try and view some about space, finally while looking in the news section I cam across a link to an actual website that does the same thing http://nedwww.ipac.caltech.edu/ . My question now is why would anyone want to use the telnet site? Tim Cynar timdebjake@xxxxxxx "Night Stalkers Don't Quit"
