[citw150] Re: Lesson 4 Question 6

I agree that it can be confusing. There are a lot of menu choices. One of the 
places I practiced telnet allowed use of the arrow keys to move in the menus so 
you could select an option using the ENTER key. Another only alloed selection 
of menu options by typing hte apporpriate letters and/or numbers at the prompt.

Telnet is a text-only protocol, a method of connecting to a remote computer 
over the Internet that let you use programs and data just as if you were using 
the computer locally. Some uses of telnet include text-based games, and library 
catalogs. I practiced telnet at telnet://140.147.254.3, and found it 
interesting, yet would never use under any circumstance. I just have no use for 
it really, telnet is also somewhat confusing if you have never used it before.
