I had a hard time working with telnet and here you have it down pat it sounds like. Were did you learn about it or did you just research and practice? Stacey Perrin >>> mharrison82@xxxxxxxxx 10/19/04 06:56PM >>> Telnet is a terminal emulation program that runs on TCP/IP stacks. (http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/T/Telnet.html) Telnet allows you to connect to a server in a command line enviornment and execute commands to manipulate a server within the set boundaries of your username and password. I practiced on my server when I was at work, telnet://10.23.10.10 (sorry but the IP address only works within our TenNet network. Well, I didn't really learn anything, because I use this service all the time, but it was fun to use it without having to troubleshoot a problem on the server :) -Matt
