That is true! That ends up taking up space on your computer without you even
knowing about it.

topic. How about you? It is nice to be
able to revisit a web-site and not have to add personal information from
scratch or run into browser probs when attempting to navigate the site,
however, have you noted the large amount of cookies in your temp folder
when web-surfing? Like, hundreds!! That makes me feel a bit irritated
and violated considering I did not ask for such data to be placed on my
computer! I suppose with this in mind, it is good to know that we can
"control" the amount of data that gets stored on our systems through
those cookie handler options, no?

I researched the issue of internet cookies. Cookies are pieces of
information stored on your computers that are sent out when requested by
a
particular web server. They can contain different things, name,
settings,
preferences, passwords, and credit card numbers. These are ok when used
for
the proper intent. The cookie is only supposed to be released to the
appropriate website for the retrieval of your information. The bad part
is
that they have found ways to track your internet surfing habits,
spending
habits and financial information. The other problems I have with
cookies
are that disabling them in your web browser can cause certain sites not
to
function.
