[citw150] Re: Lesson 3 Question 5

This Hoax is good, it has all the things that a believe works, a credible
source, a possible story, and something people want to believe. It has no
value except for spam and being a nuisance.

Subject: [citw150] Lesson 3 Question 5

Hello Class,
Internet Scams, hoaxes and viruses have been around for many years, I have
seen many of them and some of them just keep coming back over and over,
until today I thought I have never fallen for any of these hoaxes but I just
read on
Hoaxbusters(http://hoaxbusters.ciac.org/HBHackedHistory.shtml#gibson) that a
story I had heard about Mel Gibson was a hoax, the story had refences to
many things including Paul Harvey. I am lucky to say that I have never ben
infected with a virus, but I update my virus definitions daily, to avoid
virus infection so maybe it is not luck. I also read the 'Technology' news
to keep up with the latest news on scams, hoaxes, and viruses.
