I subscribed to the CNet Community Newsletter. I found the newsletter at http://nl.cnet.com/acct_mgmt.sc?brand=cnet-ssa&urs_auth=1. This newsletter comes twice a week, which I like because it doesn't clutter my inbox. I like the variety of topics discussed, everything from the home users concern about antivirus software to professional issues. The newsletter deals mostly with Windows issues, but also has a section called the 'Mac nugget' which highlights Mac issues. I like having a newsletter that addresses both operating systems in a fairly unbiased manner. I also subscribed to a newsletter titled "IT Careers and Training" which can be found at http://www.subscribenw.com/nl/signup.jsp?keycode=NLmsu006. This is a great newsletter for those who are entering in to the IT career world. One issue the newsletter addresses is whether employers are more likely to hire someone with more experience or someone with certifications and little experience. Of the two newsletters, I think the IT Careers and Training newsletter pertains to me more at the present time because I am just starting out in the IT field.
