The societal issue I chose is the Copyright issue.
Today, most computer's come with a CD burner and/or DVD burner.  With
this technology CDs and DVDs can be made from a copyrighted source and
be distributed to whoever.  These media can also be uploaded to the
internet for anyone with the capability to download the product to get
it, usually free of charge. This type of piracy affects us all, because
we pay higher prices for copyrighted products, such as computer
software, games, and movies. Because the internet is so massive,
cracking down on people breaking copyright law has to be a time
consuming process. This makes it harder for officials to protect the
rights of people who own copyrights, and even harder to enforce
copyright laws.  I think this problem will only continue to get worse,
as more advanced computers become available.  For more information on
