I went to _http://helpquest.com/cupport/tutorials/telnet_
(http://helpquest.com/cupport/tutorials/telnet) and learned that telnet is
basically used to
connect to a UNIX system because of its command line interface. It lacks the
graphics that add to our enjoyment of surfing the net. It can be used for
pinpointing problems in CGI script, editing files without downloading them,
connecting to telnet directories that are not empty or for talking. Give me a

I practiced telnet at _telnet://134.4.10.106_ (telnet://134.4.10.106) and
manage to navigate for about 10 minutes before being unable to get back to the
main menu and exiting the program. Didn't learn much at the site because I
didn't have the required data for searching for objects or the numbers that
are assigned to the millions of objects above. I can see where it would help
astronomers and scientist when it comes to correlating data, but without
spending more time on learning how to use telnet I will try to avoid using in
the
near future. Give CGI all the way!:-)
