[citw150] Re: CITW 150 L3 Q5

Dan,

I agree with you that this day and age is so complex with all the security that is available to the PC user. The technology is increasing every day and wireless is not that far away. Some companies are already there and I think that in 5 years, all businesses will want to be wireless. It concerns me because I don't know very much about how well security is and how well it works. I think there will be lots of bugs to work out and a lot of people might lose their bank information and credit card numbers in the process.

Good discussion!

The above listed web page has references to a substantial amount of network security related issues. It is my opinion that Internet security is so technological in todays everyday life that it can protect or kids from pornography on the web, protect or identity from would be perpetrators and at the same time protect or PC from unwanted spy ware. Internet security is a huge business in the PC world that has free software and software that can cost the home user hundreds of dollars. With the wireless networking becoming the wave of the present and future Internet security will be up most in every users software library. With out security our credit card numbers, address, phone numbers and all information we would like to be private would be available to any one with a little PC knowledge and a command prompt typed in the run window.
