Si, usa sus propias premisas, pero ¿quien no?
a mi juicio es importante pues es un relato orientado a sus huestes europeas 
agitando el miedo para movilizar y ofreciendo la solucion fundamentalista- 
religiosa luterana.
si tiene razon o no, lo sabremos en el futuro.
Su enfoque es luterano pues el capitalismo lo es.(Weber). Los paises 
catolicos entraron  atrasados en la modernidad pues se quedaron (y nosotros nos 
quedamos) en lo medieval con la contrareforma.
me parece consecuente con el "choque de civilizaciones"de huntington de los 80.
si su punto de vista es seguido por europa-usa, creo que un neo-imperialismo 
seguira al neoliberalismo, como en el  s 19. 
nada bueno para nosotros, creo yo.
