Hi all,
I'm not sure if you've seen this already and I am just way behind, but here is
a spec and a link to an Access-based post-grouping tool that can turn AR-DRG
6.0 into AR-DRG 6.0x.
I have confirmed with Stuart McAlister that he is happy for this to be
distributed to hospital staff.

Hi All,
Health Reform Transition Office has released the AR-DRG v6.0x Post Grouping
application (version 1.0.0.0). This application allows post grouping admitted
patients episodes to AR-DRG v6.0x from Microsoft Access datatables or flat text
files. It is provided as an interim solution for those wishing to group their
data in preparation for ABF. Formal governance process for endorsing the AR-DRG
v6.0x Post Grouping is still to be finalised.
The application has been uploaded to a free shared website for you to download.

Note there is no change to the AR-DRG v6.0 MDC descriptions or the Adjacent DRG
descriptions text files.
Attached and available in the application is an explanation of the AR-DRG v6.0x
Post Grouping change and the specification used for ICD-10-AM 6th and 7th
edition codes.

NOTE
For those who have the emergency department URG application, this application
is being updated and some URG allocation may change.
