[chadfree] Re: Peggy- Photo program question

Honestly think that Corel PictureIt! is a better starting point MS Picture 
Publisher ... The fallback on the MS programs is that they all look 
alike... so people start up word and can't figure out where the imaging 
tools are ... And believe me, when you do tech support on the phone, and 
you try to help people find a specific tool, and they're not using the 
right program, it takes  a long time to realise why they keep insisting 
that the tool you describe for them doesn't exist ...

I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad program (don't know it), just that 
it's not good teaching less computer savvy people to use a program that 
resembles too much the one they write their letters in ... My dad's wife is 
nearing 70 ... has nada understanding of how a computer works ... and keep 
mixing up the programs, and then complain about not being able to find what 
she needs ...
