Its a western digital 40 GB drive, but their website doesn't seem to have 
anything on drive overlay. Could it be known by any other name ?

This is always possible, but perhaps not worth it for an old system like 
this. Actually this computer isn't really needed -- just tinkering around 
with it getting some experience with hardware.

Its a Tomoto TX 98 motherboard with Ami Bios version 1.12. The system was 
assembled locally some years ago. Pentium MMX 233 96 MB RAM.
