[chadfree] Hi I have an urgent request!

One of my memory cards had became loose so I tightened it up and switched my pc 
on only to be greeted with "checking DMI" I have tried everything but to no 
avail:(.I can get my two drives when I boot into safe mode but cant get online 
that way.Over the last day I have people tell me that a hard drive has went bad 
but if so then why does it show up with everything on it in safe mode??.Please 
pleasssssssse help me?.I am running win millenium and I know a lot of people 
dont like it but it's worked fine for me till now:( I eagerly await your
