Hi JR,
some of us are on a lot of groups while trying to learn as much as we can.

Yes we do learn from each other<VBG>

But when nothing is left of a thread (topic) we have no idea of what may
have been tried.
It is often difficult to know where to trim I generaly try to keep the gist
of the topic in tact but may  SNIP a section out to shorten the number of
replies included.
 
On list I am on as a very good program that the listowner wrote in 'peril'
that uses a formula to determine if there is more than 10% 'quoted
material'.
But then he is running it on his own server so he is in control.

Freelists has an option for the 'quoted material' but I'm not proficient
enough with the computer to attempt using it.<G>

My only defence is that I have my Yahoo email set to include the original
message in the body of the reply and as usual Yahooey has a mind of it's
own.
