International Observe the Moon Night 2010 is just a few hours away. In fact, it’s already here for most around the world. We hope the weather will cooperate for us all, but we all know that sometimes the weather simply will not. We are already seeing reports on Twitter that some places are clouded out, or it is not looking too promising. Speaking of Twitter, there is now a live Twitter Stream on the InOMN website! Tweets from around the world using the hashtag #InOMN10 can be seen on this page. We encourage everyone to Tweet and encourage the use of the hashtag #InOMN10 exactly. The Astronomers Without Borders website now has links to places around the world that will be streaming live video feeds of the Moon. Use these links to share views of the Moon with your guests if your event is clouded out. Presentations from the Lunar and Planetary Institute, NASA Goddard, and NASA Ames will be streamed live on September 18th beginning at 6:45 p.m. U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (10:45 p.m. UTC). The link to view these presentations can be found on the InOMN site’s Webcasts/Videos page. Finally, we want to hear about your event and your visitors’ experiences! We ask that you please fill out a host evaluation and we encourage your visitors to fill out a participant evaluation. We also would like to see pictures taken at your events! We will put a call out for your pictures next week. Good luck to everyone this weekend. We wish each and everyone one of you success with your InOMN 2010 events. Clear skies, The International Observe the Moon Night Coordinating Committee
