[calibrebooks] Rare thing - sending a book back unread!

I am just sending back Black Dog, 11769. I only read about 30 mins, and couldn't stand it any longer!

The writing was the standard of a 15 year old who has been told to add more phrases to each sentence. Or one who has to make their homework 500 words and only has 400.

The characters are wooden stereotypes, and it isn't sure whether it is a crime novel or a romance. By the end of the 3 tracks I read (out of 80) I knew who had done it, what the guilty secret was, who would marry who and how it would end. I was also guessing (correctly) the next line of dialogue.

It is not often I send something back unread. Someone will like it, but it isn't for me.
