ESRI now supports Linux versions of ArcIMS 4, ArcSDE
8.2, MapObjects-
Java Standard Edition, and ArcExplorer 4.

for those not familiar with ESRI, they do GIS(Global
Information Systems, ie mapping) this seems like it
will be the next (EDA was first) linux strong hold in
engineering. The petrolium Industry seem to really
like linux. also worth noting is the traffic on the
GRASS (a free GIS package) list has doubled since last
year.
