I discovered this list in my search for an answer to the question below. If
this question is not appropriate for this list, I apologize and just let me
know.
I want to produce a 3D object saved in Parasolid x_t format from 5
cross-sections. Each section saved in a text file as a list of
x,y,z-coordinates (ending point same as beginning) defining a closed curve
around the cross section. I want the solid body to smoothly go through the
closed splined curve that passes through the points of each section. I want to
be able to read in the coordinates from the files since there are 75 points per
section and I don't want to hand-type each point into the software.
Can someone recommend the simplest or cheapest software to do this? Is a free
trial version of such software available?
Thanks,
Arif
