[cad-linux] Re: running acad under wine

I'm copying the cad-linux mailing list on this, someone there may be able to 
help you as well.

Its been a long time, but I think the installer fails at around 75%.  At this 
point, all of the registry entries were apparently finished and it was just 
in the process of copying files.  I then just copied the files from the 
native windows installed acad (from "program files" and "common files") and 
it was working.

As for the dll's, there must be something in the wine configs that needs to be 
setup.  I'll try digging around a bit, but I may have left something out (the 
"err:module:import_dll Module (file) ac1st15.dll"  sounds familiar.)

Hi there, once again,

I really don't want to bother you about this subject, but my struggle to get
acad running under wine still fails. i've tried to follow your guidancde step
by step. Now the installer collapses when the process is almost over...

Anyways, it is something you predict in your mini howto. After this i procede
in strict accordance to your tutorial.

When i run wine acad.exe i, nevertheless, get

err:module:import_dll Module (file) ac1st15.dll (which is needed by
 C:\Program Files\ACAD2000\acad.exe) not found
err:process:start_process Main exe initialization failed


This (and all other shared dll files) live in Common Files/Autodesk Shared,
 as i've grab them from a native windows environment. I'm completly unable to
 understand what might be wrong or lacking...

Your help would be much appreciated.
