Hi,
I am crossposting this from the free-architecture list. I am not sure if
there are many here subscribed to both lists, if yes I apologize. But I
think there is a lot of interesting dıscussion starting at the moment.
On free-architecture, there have been a lot of posts following, some of them
about possible interaction between Blender and other (cad-)tools. You can
browse through the archive of free-architecture to follow:

Hi list,
there is a very active thread at blenderartists going on about the use
of Blender in architecture. There came up some information / rumour ore
whatever that some features are planned to come up during this year like
snap and improved dxf:

I think, to create a useable work environments for architects in open
source world, Blender could become an important piece as it is a mature
app with lots of interesting technologies already (just think about
verse). So if it makes the step to become a modeler suitable for
technical stuff, this would bring us much further.
CU Lars.
