I dowloaded qcad2 via gentoo-linux "emerge" package manager a few days
ago, which downloads the sources and then compiles and installs them
onto the system. Qcad2 for linux is under the GPL and works fine for me.
Very easy to learn and use. Nice snap tools, comfortable mouse wheel
guided panning and zooming, prints to printer or postscript at desired
scales with nice page previews and in this last version you can include
bitmaps too. It doesn't break any work at all, runs all day long if you
want.
