[cad-linux] Re: avoCADo CAD

Hehe this list is not dead, is it?
I just tried avoCADo now... it is quite nice, sketchup style, easy, you draw
a rectangle, then you click on it to extrude, etc... But it is very simple.
Currently you have very few tools: a line tool, a rectangle tool, a circle
tool, an extrude tool, and something that looks like an example of a
parametric object. So it is not very useful for anything serious. But it is
nicely made, there is snap, mouse gesture things to rotate, pan, and the guy
who is making it seems to have a detailed plan of what he is doing, so who
knows, something interesting can come.

Anyway it is cool to see a cad thing that looks simple and clean...
