This is all done, you gave me enough info. and privileges to log onto 
sourceforge using my login and do what needed to be done. If you're 
interested in the details let me know privately (I won't bore everyone here 
with it). Suffice to say the welcome.htm file is now the default file that 
you see when you go to lx-viewer.sourceforge.net

No need, my login has access by virtue of you making me a project admin 
(thanks). I was thinking maybe I could write a PHP script for the welcome 
page that will say "the latest version of the viewer is 
Pre-release 0.92 Source" and would update itself as the version numbers 
changed.
