[cad-linux] [OT] Autocad 2004 = Safecast


I apologize for the OT post, but this is the only CAD mailing list that
I subscribe to...
It has come to my attention that Autodesk has decided to use SafeCast
(c-dilla) in AutoCAD 2004.
Does anyone know if there will be (or already is) an outcry over this
when Intuit put it in TurboTax

Also, since this is my first post (though I've been subscribed quite a
while) can anyone recommend a CAD solution for civil engineering and
surveying?
