I received the file, unzipped it and extracted the XPM files you created.
Unfortunately I can't seem to open any of them with any of the graphics
programs on my Linux machine (and I tried 3 different ones). Could you
re-send them as BMP formats (nothing is ever easy) .
I picked 14x14 because the file open and file save tool bar icons supplied as
examples with QT are 14x14. Well at least the first one I checked is, the
second is 13x16 which is not enough different to talk about. I would suggest
that we try to get one done and see how it looks before we (you) start on the
remainder.
I hear what you are saying about licensing and OpenDWG. I looked into this
some before I started work. OpenDWG is not open source, but their license
does not seem all that bad to me. You can use the libraries for free so long
as you don't charge for your program, and for me that is not a problem. If
you can find another DXF reader library I'll be happy to try to weave it in
to my program. That will help some, but I will still need the OpenDWG viewkit
to actually display the drawing.
Those are my thoughts for Sunday. See you on the flip side.
Andy
