3. CAD Schroer Releases MEDUSA4 for Linux
Software developer CAD Schroer[41] last week released the latest
revision of the fourth generation of its MEDUSA design automation
suite, known as MEDUSA4, for all major platforms, now including Linux.
"With the advent of MEDUSA4 Rev 2 on Linux, companies can now choose
their desktop solution on the basis of their strategic needs,”
said Michael Schroer, founding director of the German company. …
Many companies are interested in exploiting the intrinsic security and
lower cost of ownership that moving to Linux can provide. "
MEDUSA is designed for use by the 3D plant engineering and electrical
engineering fields.
