my wife taught me(html), it's not too bad.  i had written basic, fortran and 
assembly many many (many) years ago.

I know it's true for me and i'm sure most people are the same way.
If i can see the gui i can tell a lot about how friendly/difficult it would 
be to learn.  chose your screen shot well.  tell them as much as you can 
about what they can do with it and use it for.

:-), I don't mind taking some of the blame, i don't know that i desirve any 
credit though, sure.

I tried freelancing at home many years ago, it was rough.
it did not take long before i had to go back to having a day job.
like you said it's hard to get/keep the work coming in.
