I've been trying to get this to build. my mdk 8.0 does not seem to have a
new enought version. and upgrading seems to create too many conflicts.
I seem to have to go through upgrade hell every time something involves QT or
GTK (ever since the KDE/Gnome wars).
but, i'm still trying.
any chance of a static build?
