14x14 pixels does not give me much room to work with, but I'll try.

I like what your doing but anything that uses OpenDWG code will be subject to
their Licence restrictions.
i did find a dxflib on sourceforge. It's by the author of Qcad, but it does
not seem to have been updated recently.
